One of the benefits in joining a Greek organziation is the opportunity to network and form relations with the whole Greek community. The Greek councils at San Diego State take part in numerous events through out the year including philanthropies, special days of recognition and organized mixer events. Read on to learn more about some of the campus events we participate in.
Panhellenic Pride Week
To show how strong the Greek community is at SDSU, Panhellenic hosts Panhellenic Pride Week each year. Chapters are invited to wear their respected sorority badges, spend time with sister sororities and remember how great it is to be a part of something bigger than yourself.
Greek Week is one of the biggest philanthropic activities run by SDSU students. Each year, 39 Greek chapters work together to raise money for a chosen charity. With nearly 2,000 participating members, the week is composed of a variety of events including a talent show, chapter fundraising and Olympic-style Greek Games.
From indoor soccer to basketball, we love showing off our athletic abilities! While many of us may no longer be as active as we were in high school, intramurals allow us to keep playing the sports we love and build friendships with our opponents and other greek organizations.
